Update on US State and local election coverage and potential alert increase

As part of our commitment to providing market-leading PEP coverage globally, we are releasing updates reflecting recent election results across several key US states. This update may trigger additional alerts in your screenings and monitoring due to the incorporation of newly elected officials and changes in officeholders.

Key updates and go-live dates

We have incorporated new data from the recent November elections to ensure your compliance program remains robust and adheres to the latest regulatory guidance for identifying domestic US PEPs.

• November 6, 2025: We released the sources reflecting election results for New York state, most notably the newly elected Mayor of New York City and related positions.

• November 7, 2025: 

  • We released entities newly elected in the recent New Jersey elections, including the Governor and new members of the General Assembly.

  • We released the sources reflecting the election results for the Virginia House of Delegates and their close associates.

This update incorporates all newly designated PEPs, removes individuals no longer included on official lists, and applies any necessary updates or corrections to existing records based on the latest election outcomes.
