A screening configuration refers to creating search defaults that allow businesses to tailor and target their searches by specifying particular lists, alert types, and other criteria. For example, businesses can create a configuration targeting high risk jurisdictions, specific sanction lists like OFAC, or priority adverse media alert categories like fraud.
Screening configurations can be set up within the settings page. In this article you will learn:

Access screening configuration page
- Log in to Mesh.
- Select Settings from the main header.
- Select Screening configurations from the navigation menu on the left.
You will see any previously configured configurations listed on the page.
Create a new screening configuration with source collections
Use the Create button in the upper right corner of the screening configuration page to create a new screening configuration.
Once your screening configuration is existing, you can add source collections to it to select which data sources to include for screening. A screening configuration can have up to four collections.
Add sources from one or more categories to the same source collection and apply a fuzziness setting.

Edit a screening configuration
You can update screening configurations by changing the collections within the screening configuration.
- Select the three dots in the screening configuration you want to edit and select Edit.
- Select to Edit or delete any of the collections within the configuration.
- If you select to edit a configuration you can change the sources or fuzziness for that collection and select Save.
- Select Save all your updates to the configuration for them to be applied.

If you no longer want a screening configuration to be selected for screening, you can archive it.
There is a toggle to show archived configurations if required.

View change history
You can review the change history of screening configuration to see which changes have been made over time.
