Setting up your Screening configuration

Creating a New Screening Configuration
Access Settings: Open the Settings section of Mesh by clicking the settings cog in the top-right corner.
Navigate: Click on the Screening configurations section.
Creation: Click the Create button.
Name Configuration: You will be prompted to type a unique name for the configuration. Once entered, proceed to the next step.
Add a Collection: A configuration is made up of "Collections." A configuration can have up to 4 collections. Click to add a new collection. This is where the filtering flow begins:
Select Risk Types: Choose the specific risks you want to screen for (e.g., Sanctions Exposure > Direct Sanctions).
Select Data Source Types: Based on your risk selection, valid data sources will appear. Uncheck any you wish to exclude (e.g., exclude Media Risk).
Select Jurisdictions: Define the regions you want to include. You can select specific countries or "International." (Default is "All").
Set Match Threshold: Finally, define the Match Threshold. This sets the minimum score (0-100) required for a result to be considered a potential match (hit).
Save: Click Create to finalise the configuration.
Updating an Existing Screening Configuration
Access Configurations: Navigate to the Screening configurations section in Settings.
Select Configuration: Find the configuration you want to edit in the list and click to open it.
Edit Collection: Locate the specific collection you wish to modify.
Modify Filters: You can add/remove Risk Types, toggle Data Sources, or update the Jurisdiction list.
Adjust Thresholds: Update the match score threshold if necessary.
Save Changes: Click Save.
Warning: Updating an active configuration is retroactive. The system will trigger a re-screening of all existing customers associated with this configuration to ensure their alerts match the new rules.
