The first step of creating a screening configuration is to create a configuration with a name and description. Then, you can add up to four source collections to define the data sources to screen against.
- Go to Settings in the upper right corner and click Screening configurations.
- Click the Create button in the upper right corner.
- Complete all the fields.
- Click Next.
Once your screening configuration is existing, you need to add source collections to select which data sources to include. A screening configuration can have up to four collections.
- Select Add to configure a source collection.
- Complete the name field.
- Click Next.
- Select the sources or categories to be included in this source collection along with the fuzziness to be applied to those sources and categories.
Fuzziness is a name matching technique used to reduce the impact of misspellings and small variations in name spelling. It applies to all sources in the collection. For more details please see: What is fuzziness?
- Click Add in the upper right corner to add the selections to the configuration.
- Select Save when all collections have been created and you are ready to make your configuration available.
A success notification is displayed.
Subscribe to all sanctions
When adding source collections, you can select the option Subscribe to all Sanctions. Ticking this option will add all current sources for sanctions into the collection and automatically add any new sanctions sources that are added into the category in the future.
Use configuration identifier via API
You can copy the identifier of your screening configuration from the web application to use it via the API.
