You can rename the default stages in a case workflow to align with your business needs. Renaming stages update the names across all existing and closed cases, hence it is important that the new names reflect the original intent for accurate reporting.
How to rename stages in a case workflow:

Select Settings from the main header.
- Choose a case type under Case Workflows in the navigation menu.
- Click the Edit button.
- Click the edit icon next to the stage you wish to rename.
- Type in the new name and click Confirm.
- Save the changes.
- See the changes implemented across the platform.
